I am an active collector and enthusiast. Born into a car family in 1954, I "wrenched" early on with
whatever roller graced the garage. Over the years, my
family owned several great cars including an Alfa Romeo
6c1750, Stutz DV-32, Jaguar E-Type, several Aston Martins
and Mercedes-Benz, Lagonda, Duesenberg, and of course
a vintage VW Beetle.p>
Today, my shop is home to a 1923 Duesenberg touring and a 1950 Riley 2-1/2 litre saloon (the
Riley was my first ride—as a newborn). Current projects also include a flathead-based "old school" hot rod.
In addition to automobiles, my varied interests include vintage machine
tools and just about any mechanical component. Music and early Hi-Fi equipment also
figure into my interests including such time-honored brands as KLH,
Ampex, Marantz, and Teac, along with uniquely bridging this old gear with over 58,000 digital song files streamed throughout a home network.
The Killorin
family lives on thirteen splendid rural acres in Middlebury,
Vermont—overlooking Lemon Fair Valley and New York's
Adirondack Mountains to the West.
